ONCE A GIRL SCOUT...

A girl scout is always prepared. Always.

Thus I have spent my non-sick-and-flopped-on-the-couch, non-working-or-sleeping hours baking like a fiend in preparation for our upcoming Christmas party. As of this moment, I have over THREE HUNDRED cookies in my freezer, in three different varieties (all homemade by Yours Truly, thankyouverymuch). I still have a couple of days to make 50 or so buttertarts, and Saturday morning will see the assembly of homemade eggnog, mulled wine and my famous artichoke dip. At this rate it's looking like I'll have approximately 25 items to eat/drink per party guest.

Haven't I mentioned that my holiday motto is to worry about the calories later?
