TEAM MALE

A while ago (see "HEAT WAVE"), the suggestion was made that the males in our household (or perhaps males more generally) had a somewhat weak constitution when faced with warm weather as we erroneously concluded that it was too hot out to be comfortable. A few days later the stormclouds rolled in, the heat wave broke, and we've had mild weather for some time. However, the temperatures have again started to climb. Our boiler's been on the injured list of late, so I'm actually pretty happy with the warm temperatures (makes a semi-cold shower more enjoyable!), although Kappa's been grumbling quite a bit and his disgust is plain. However, this time around, there is one more vote to count... I give you Basil, who was happy and cheerful this morning; the state you see him in is the best that a dousing with water has been able to restore him to:
