AND SO WE FIND OURSELVES AT THE PUB (AGAIN)

Today was a big outing for us – we spent the day shopping for more household items with Beide and Sultan. This in itself is not so big of a deal, but the fact that Sultan has a car, and that we actually drove to the “far” side of Cambridge, is. This is the farthest we’ve been since our arrival, because while the bike paths near us are fairly good, going further east of the city requires cycling amongst fast traffic and I prefer to avoid that.

After having dinner at the Grafton Centre (the only real shopping mall in Cambridge), we returned home to veg out for a bit and then convinced Steve to come out to the Darwin pub with us. We ended up sitting with some folks at the pub who had just returned from a play featuring Sophocles – in ancient greek. Only in Cambridge are you able to attend a play spoken in a language that has been dead for thousands of years!
