LISTEN TO THE SLUGS

We returned home from a night of watching movies with "Biology" Claire (my post doc co-worker) on Saturday to find a slug smack in the middle of our living room floor. He (she?) was small, but still - ew.

I have decided there is an important message here:

If there is a gap between your front door and the foundation of your Victorian-age house large enough to accomodate a slug, and if winter is on the way, perhaps this is a good time to acknowledge that an investment in weather stripping would be a wise move.
