JUST LIKE ET

As Ray and I were cycling home from Rob's house tonight, at about 11pm, we came across a sure sign that the undergrads are back in town: masses of people on the streets, many of them on their cycles. We joined up with a group (flock? flotilla? herd?) of such riders on our way through the centre of town and I felt a strange sort of deja vu...remembering the cycling scene from ET, but it was like being IN the cycling scene, instead of watching it. I even have a basket on my cycle, although luckily it didn't contain a funny little alien...
